These are the planning stages that I went through in order to create a drafted version of my artist's logo. The first stage was to select a name for the artist that suited him and his represented genre. Once I chose the name 'Daniel Noir', I looked into different inspirational logos from real artists and band's websites. The inspiration I found strongly influenced my final logo. The next step was to select an appropriate font to compliment the feel of my brand as a whole. Following this, I then experimented with colours, although I wanted to stay with a black and white simple colour palette. In the final stages, I went with the original decision of a black, understated logo. From this process I have learnt just how many creative options there are for different logos within branding and just how important it is to decide on using the correct style and theme.
