Analysis Of Digipaks

For this task, I had to analyse Digipaks and people's opinions on their particular format. However, I started my research by looking into what Digipaks actually are and the role that they play in the music industry. I soon discovered what they are and the reasons why they are made. I also included a specific example of one, a Caro Emerald Digipak that I personally own. I briefly looked into the materials that they are made of and their reason for use. Following this, I joined up in a pair and we went around our school together, asking a wide range of participants (teachers and students) for their opinions on the digipaks and whether they buy them themselves. I learnt a lot from this activity because I got a clear idea of the kind of people who buy Digipaks. I found these people to be the ones who are interested in music and possibly follow a particular band because they enjoy the bonus features and extra content included in the pack. As for those who don't buy them, the majority of them admitted to buying music online and not in any physical form as it seems to be easier, faster and cheaper.
