Below is some examples of the work we were able to achieve on green screen.
Following on from this, below is our final completed and edited version of our music video.

Technology
Cameras:
The cameras we had the opportunity to use were very high quality cameras designed for effective filming. From this practice I gained some experience and understanding into how to get the most out of the camera you are using and the way in which you can show the best techniques and tricks of the trade. I will be using this experience and techniques within my own music video and hopefully take it to a higher level of quality and distinction.
I Movie:
We used the software I Movie on a Mac to edit and refine our music video. We did this for many reasons such as the fact that I Movie is so easy to use and is a brilliant starting place to learn how to edit clips. It also has the capability to successfully make use of our green screen and transform it into a realistic setting in place of the green screen. From this experience I decided that I could possibly incorporate green screen techniques in my own personal video because I now have the skills and knowledge to do so.
From our trip to (ID creative media) studio in Barry Island, I acquired many different skills and techniques in order to begin the process of making my own music video. We went as a class with the aim of producing a demo music video in an amateur fashion whilst in the process of learning different tricks of the trade.
Our song of choice was the theme tune from the TV programme, ‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air’ as we wanted to incorporate an air of humour into our work as it was our first real attempt at creating a video in a professional environment.
The equipment we had the opportunity to use included professional cameras that are used in the industry, a green screen, imovie and different editing software.
From this experience, I learnt so many pieces of valuable information surrounding the filming aswell as the editing of professional music videos, this experience has given me a really useful ‘head start’ and insight into the industry which will set me up with some inspiration and ideas for my own video.
